Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon (March 22, born in 1976), professionally known as Reese Witherspoon, is an American actress, producer, film producer and television. Witherspoon landed her first role as leading lady in the movie The Man in the Moon in 1991, and later the same year she made her television debut on the cable movie Wildflower. In 1996, Witherspoon appeared in the highway and follow the emergence of newspapers in three major movies of 1998: overnight delivery, Pleasantville, and Twilight. The following year, Witherspoon appeared in the critically acclaimed Election, which nominated her a Golden Globe.
